I'm Cyprien, a French software engineer. Life brought me to Aichi in Japan, where I live the simple life of a backend and infrastructure developer. The quiet kind of work that nobody notices until things breaks. What I enjoy most is the process itself: reading through a hard problem, finding the simple design hiding inside it, and writing code I won't dread opening six months later.
This site is where I tinker. Notes on things I've learned, small projects, links worth keeping. It grows slowly and nothing here is too precious to change. Look carefully and you might stumble on an easter egg or two.
When I'm not working, I like taking things apart to see how they work. Lately that means operating systems. I also spend a lot of time cooking (my son tells me I make good pancakes), watching movies, and going on long walks with no particular destination. I'm a parent, so free time is a creative exercise in itself.
I'm always happy to hear from people. Whether you have a question, an opportunity, or just want to say hello, write me at cyprien.boree@tuta.io.
